Grants

Thank you for your interest in the grants offered by San Ramon Arts Foundation.

San Ramon Arts Foundation awards grants that we believe best serve the residents of San Ramon in the following area of Cultural Arts:

  • Performing Arts
  • Visual Arts
  • Literary Arts
  • Art Education
  • Artistic program development

SRAF will not consider:

  • Organizations that discriminate in any way
  • Payment of existing obligations and deficits
  • Previously funded organizations with unacceptable results

We favor organizations that are located in and serve the needs of the residents of the City of San Ramon and the San Ramon Valley.

Organizations submitting grant applications must be classified as charitable under IRS code section 501 (c)(3). Schools, units of local government and individuals are also eligible.

In reviewing grant applications SRAF will consider:

  • Program approach, scale, innovations, risks and operational practices
  • Plans for meeting and evaluating program objectives
  • Ability of the organization to achieve intended outcomes
  • Organizational strengths and leadership
  • Financial viability and sustainability of the organization

Application must be received by the Foundation on or before June 1, 20XX
