and Conditions
Reservations:
The conditions outlined below
are the underlying agreement between you and Links Golf Travel
(Tour
Operator).
Upon booking a trip and to insure a reservation a non-refundable $250.00 per
person deposit is required for each
package reserved. The deposit must be paid on the day of
booking. Reservations will not be
confirmed before the deposit is received. The balance of fees
and charges are due 45 days prior
to departure. If package is purchased within 75 days from
departure date, payment in full is
required to reserve the package, $250.00 of which is nonrefundable.
Other deposit and payment
schedules may apply for group bookings or special
events. $35.00 fee or (3% for tickets
priced in excess of $1200.00) administration surcharge
applies for any airline tickets paid by
credit card.
Deposit
and Payment:
All payments for deposit and
complete payment can be made with Visa / Master Card, American
Express or Discover. Personal
checks are also accepted. A $250.00 per person, non refundable
deposit is due at time of booking with
complete payment due 45 days prior to departure. See
cancellation policy for penalty details.
Links
Golf Travel cancellation policy:
Cancellation must be received by
phone and confirmed in writing. Without confirmation in writing
no cancellation will be deemed to
have occurred. Cancellations properly received up to 45 days
prior to departure forfeit the
deposit paid. Cancellations properly received between 15 and 45
days prior to departure result in
loss of deposit as well as a penalty of 25% of package price or
$200 per
person, whichever is greater. Cancellations properly received within 14 days of
departure result in the loss of deposit
and incur penalty of 75% of the package price. Other
penalties may apply for group bookings.
Items
not included in travel quote:
Caddies, premium course or tee
time up charges, Alcoholic drinks, meals, Insurance of any kind,
gasoline, taxes, security fees and
airline or resort surcharges. (Unless specified otherwise in your
itinerary)
Special
Events:
More than 8 travelers is considered as a special event. Separate agreements that
are specific to
each event will superceded
this policy.
Itinerary
& Travel Documents:
Approximately two weeks before
travel each person will receive all necessary ticket information
and travel documentation and
certificates.
Other:
Reservations made within 21 days
of departure are subject to a late booking fee. Changes to
reservations after payment is received are
subject to an administrative fee. Surcharges may be
applied to
charges will apply as well as credit
card acceptance. All incidental and third party charges that
are not mentioned in the contract
have to be borne by the passenger or client. It is the
responsibility of the passenger and client to
provide Links Golf Travel with the proper information
and documentation in a timely
fashion. All information and documentation must be received
within 75 days of departure for group
and special event bookings.
Please note:
* Prices and/or inclusions are
subject to change. * Unless otherwise stated, the room category
included is run of the house. * Unless
otherwise stated, villa/condo style accommodation includes
weekly maid service only. * Where
seasonality causes low occupancy, some hotels may close
certain facilities, such as
restaurants, nightclubs, etc, without prior notice. * Unlimited green fees
entitles passenger to one round
guaranteed daily - additional rounds at no extra charge, subject
to availability. Most courses will
not pre-book tee times for single golfer. * Inclusions listed as
"daily"
refers to one inclusion per night of accommodation. * Where possible, resorts
do major
golf course maintenance during the
off peak and low season. Since most of the courses are open
12 months per year, it is
possible you may encounter top dressing, coring, over-seeding and
other such regular maintenance
features, during your golf holiday. * Gas, tax and insurance on
rental car are not included in the
package price and must be paid locally to car rental company.
Some rental locations will also
impose local fees, which are the responsibility of the client. *
Unless otherwise stated,
incidental items such as, room charges, parking, club storage, etc. are
not included. * No refund or rain
check allowed on any unused tour services.* No credit of any
kind is allowed for any group or
special event booking.
Unused
services:
Tour services included in each
package and not used have no cash value and are not refundable.
Unused hotel rooms, tee times,
rental car days, meals or any other item that comes as part of the
package is not separable from the package
and will not be refunded if left unused.
Departure
and scheduling Changes:
All departure and schedule
information provided to each traveler is correct and accurate at the
date of issue. The tour operator is
not responsible for changes made by the Airline or resort. Such
changes are unlikely to occur but in
the event such a thing does occur Links Golf Travel is not
responsible for disruption or financial
injury to the traveler.
Car
Rental Information:
Drivers must have a valid drivers license and be age 25 or older. Car rental rates do
not include
local taxes, fees, insurance coverage
or fuel. These are the responsibility of the traveler.
Documentation:
Two forms of identification, one
of them Government issued, are required for air travel. It is
strongly recommended that the traveler
carry a drivers license and passport. A passport is
required for all travel outside of
Responsibility:
Links Golf
Travel as the tour operator and its agents act in the capacity of agent for the
traveler.
Links Golf Travel will endeavor
to satisfy clients' requirements, nevertheless, we must reserve the
right at any time to withdraw any
application or to cancel any bookings made by clients. In which
event no liability whatsoever, in
respect of such cancellation or withdrawal shall fall upon Links
Golf Travel. If Links Golf Travel is forced
to cancel a booking there shall be refunded to the client
.
the monies already paid with
respect to the booking so canceled or the application so withdrawn.
Links Golf Travel issues all
tickets and books all transport arrangements and hotel
accommodation reservations as agent only upon
the express condition that they shall not be held
liable for any injury damage, loss,
accident, delay or irregularity, which may be occasioned either
by reason of any default in any
vehicle or through act of default on any company or person
engaged in conveying the passenger, or
in carrying out the arrangements on the holiday(s) or
otherwise in connection therewith, or of
conditions of the carriers' standard ticket.
Links Golf Travel does not
accept responsibility for losses or additional expenses due to delay or
changes, in air, rail, road, sea
or other services, quarantine, sickness, strikes, war, weather, or
other causes. Such losses and expenses
will have to be borne by the passengers or clients.
Cancellation insurance is highly
recommended. Transportation companies whose services are
featured in these tours are not to be
held responsible for any act; omissions or event during the
time passengers are not on board
their conveyance.
The passage contract in use by
these companies when issued shall constitute the sole contract
between the companies and the
passenger. If any problem, dispute or issue exists, it is the
responsibility of the passenger or client to
contact Links Golf Travel.
Links Golf Travel or its agents
assume no responsibility for lost tickets or vouchers, third party
charges.
Links Golf Travel is not
responsible for any third party charges. Any collections of legal fees, late
fees and service charges have to be
borne by the passenger or client. Links Golf Travel reserves
the right to cancel or delay any
arrangement of services contracted if any of the above terms and
conditions is not fulfilled. In such a
case Links Golf Travel reserves the right to hold or not return
any deposits or payments. All
complaints or refund issues have to be submitted in writing and
have to be received by Links Golf
Travel within 14 days after return from the holiday or event. No
complaints filed directly with any
contracted agent or supplier of Links Golf Travel will be
accepted and will result with immediate
forfeitures of deposits or payments. Written complaints
must be sent via Fax or mail; verbal
and e-mails are not accepted.
Jurisdiction:
Should either of the parties to
this agreement be moved to legal action to enforce the terms and
conditions related to this agreement the
jurisdiction and venue will be the
of
